The exhibition, which runs until 1 August, features works by canine artists Arthur Wardle and John Emms.
The Irish setter is depicted in a range of media from 19th-century bronzes to Royal Doulton porcelain, jewellery and medals.

It is hoped that teams from France, Sweden, Germany and Britain will compete on Shap Fell on 21 July in the Association’s international field trial, which will publicise the breed’s working qualities.
