Charlotte Mackaness

Charlotte Mackaness grew up in North Yorkshire where she spent many hours pleading with her parents to let her have more animals. After studying Politics at Durham and at L’Institut d’Etudes Politiques, she moved to London where she worked for various magazines before landing up at The Field. After following her heart to Northamptonshire, she went freelance and set about populating her home with not just children but dogs, chickens, ponies and the world’s smallest breed of sheep.
