The inspirational Claire Lomas will give an interview, and sign copies of her book at Garthorpe on Sunday
On Sunday 27th April the inimitable Garthorpe racecourse near Melton Mowbray plays host to the Quorn Hunt, for the annual Quorn point-to-point.
Racing starts at 1pm, and there are a host of trade stands for those keen to spend their winnings, including Joules, Mrs Cookes Sweets and Cakes, Clairemont Books, Frimble Tweed and Cashmere, Eaton Hampers, Estribos belts and many more…
Claire Lomas, who was paralysed in a riding accident in 2007, and has since gone on to complete the London marathon in a robotic suit, raise over £300,000 for charity and inspire a nation with her warmth and candour will give an interview after the Ladies Race. Claire will also be signing copies of her autobiography, Finding my feet, on the day.
There is a licensed bar, plenty of refreshments, Tote stands and amusement’s for children.
Entry is £10 per person. All those under 16 go free.
