BRIGHTWELLS END-OF-SEASON SALE
Brightwells are set to hold the first of their four annual sales at Malvern on 23 March. This year the popular March sale will include an end-of-season sale of hunters and hunt horses, an excellent event to present and sell at.
Established in 1846, Brightwells have for very many years been the country’s leading auctioneers of all breeds of horse and pony, with a very good and established pedigree in this regard. In 2015 they held over 40 days of successful sales, and to further widen their horse sale portfolio they are now holding an end-of-season sale Hunters and Hunt Horses within their existing Sport & Riding Horse Sale at Malvern in March.
Brightwells Horse Auctioneer Andrew Elliott said “Historically there were specific sales of Hunters as well as Hounds conducted at Leicester Sales at the end of each season. Unfortunately these have long ceased to exist, and as I’m an ex professional hunt servant and now an auctioneer, I felt that this was a niche market that should be rejuvenated. Our sales at Malvern have a good reputation and always attract buyers and sellers from every corner of Great Britain and March 23rd is perfectly timed, as most hunts will have concluded their sport for the season. Added together, the combination of date, a central location and a popular sales venue, all make for a perfect opportunity for the hunting world to get together on one day to present and sell their horse’s amongst other likeminded and sporting souls.”
