Masterpiece London returns for the third year to the Royal Hospital Chelsea between 28 June – 4 July 2012. An “aesthete’s dream” Masterpiece is a delightful fusion of art and design, old and new.

The collector at Masterpiece can also covet a Damien Hirst (High Windows, £1,500,000) exhibited by Robilant + Voena, stand D22 or an Egyptian head in quartzite from the 18th century dynasty, c. 1500 – 1450 BC exhibited by Chalres Ede Ltd, stand C10.
For the country minded Masterpiece can also provide covetable ceramics. Twelve inky blue ceramic plaques from Copeland will be exhibited by Robert Young Antiques, stand C12 (£240,000 for the 12 plaques). Copeland were renowned in the Victorian era for their ceramics. The plaques were inset into the Billiard Room walls of Scottish businessman and MP, Thomas Russell. The Copeland plaques feature hunting, shooting, coursing, fishing and cricket among others.
